The greatest part of video capturing is done by using dSLR cameras, a modern method by which the final result resembles the style of a movie. There may be aan additional feed in parallel using a high-end camcorder, in order to cover the event from different angles, or in those situations where working with a dSLR is not easy.
The size of dSLR camera sensors combined with fast lenses enable us to record high-quality video in Full HD resolution even in low light conditions, while using shallow depth of field gives a distinct character to the final result.
The footage is recorded in a super flat profile in order for the material to have more room for processing at the editing stage. The first stage of post-processing includes the editing of the material from all sources into a rough first cut. The next processing stage includes the use of a professional video editing suite to remove noise, colour grade and sharpen each individual clip, the addition of music and the removal of any unwanted sounds.
This is actually the most demanding and time consuming part of the whole process, however, it is necessary in order for the end product to reach the high level of high quality standards that characterise each of our work.
The final result is delivered either on a USB stick in Full HD format (1920x1080). The original digital file is stored in order to be able to make copies in the future. Finally, we create backups which are stored in a safe place.
